70 days and no discharge yet

What's the deal? Are they backed up? What causes a later discharge?

We are a no asset case. We have had no disputes and we are now at 70 days still awaiting discharge on PACER.

Has anyone else had this happen?

Alot of courts ARE behind One of the districts is so busy that they are pulling in travelling trustees on a regular basis just to stay on top of the 341s.

Also, your district may do group discharges - meaning they are issued on Fridays, or in batches twice a month, or whatever.

If you haven't heard anything to the contrary, just assume that they are backed up. Don't call the clerks office, there is nothing they can do - don't call your attorney, he is waiting just like you are.

      Good luck!
