    Congratulations on the discharge!! whoohooo!!

    (Don't want to rain on your parade, but have you checked with your ed loan provider to see that the loans were actually discharged?)

        Well, this was a sticky area. I took the loan out for educational reasons but technically it was not a education loan as per the legal definition. The lender did not contest - I'm guessing b/c they probably considered it just another loan - not a school loan. They listed it as IIB/$0 balance on my credit report already.

            Well, I guess so. The weird thing was - I had to be a student in able to be eligible to apply/receive the $. I guess it could come back later on but I'm not thinking it will - nor is my attorney.
