    Pro Se filers Discharged and Closed!

    Today is a great day! Ive been stressing about this day since we filed on the 14th of March. Called up my case administrator today, being day 61 (Mines been really nice through the whole thing, probably because we filed ProSe and with an approved Fee Waiver), and she not only discharged us on the spot, but closed our case!

    *happy dance*

    Total cost for a Ch 7 BK? $26.00... Dang creditors we forgot after filing our Sch F.
    Pro Se Joint Chapter 7 filed 03/14/2011, Fee Waiver Approved 03/16/2011, 341 Date 04/21/2011, Trustees Report of no Distribution and request for relief of duties, 04/24/2011, Last objection date 06/20/2011. Discharged and Closed: 06/21/2011

                            I am always pleased to read that another Pro Se filer has made it through the Gauntlet! While you may have had some postage charges, the fact that you only had $26 in court and attorney fees... is quite impressive.

                              Thanks JB. Actually, only $5.40 in postage. Idaho doesnt require the CM:RRR when mailing out forgotten creditors, just a signed affidavit saying you actually placed them in the mail. Well, that and I did a Certificate of Deposit at the Post Office, basically a form signed by the post office window clerk saying that these pieces of mail were hand delivered to him to be mailed, and that they were placed in the outgoing mail. If i read about the differences Non-Asset vs. Asset cases when it comes to Discharged debts that arent disclosed on the Sch F, it would have been a free bankruptcy. Oh well, better than the $1500+ that attorneys were wanting.
