I have asked attorney and they said to wait till after discharge.

Ok here is my question. Our 341 meeting is next Tuesday. We need to find financing for an automobile. has anyone ever experienced this? if so where is the best place to start to find financing.

Once we were discharged the car dealers sent us offers for financing a new car. They all came from their "bankruptcy department" and stated they wanted to help us with our fresh start. We got about ten such offers within a month of discharge and then another set at the one year mark.
    Lawyer - $3000
    Filing fee - $299
    Fresh Start - Priceless

I would wait for discharge if possible. I drove my beater all the way through the process and got a very nice vehicle afterwards.
