Quetion re: Non Exempt Personal Property

While I have not yet completed the forms, I have a question regarding non-exempts. I am in Florida and will be using the homestead exemption. As a result, I only have $1,000 allowable in non-exempts for personal property. Over the years, I have accumulated tons of "stuff", including bric a brac, prints, small Disney items, as well as the normal tv's, computers, etc.
I have not yet done the inventory but my "stuff" could easily be worth 2 or 3 thousand, none of which are big ticket items.
If I decide not to pay the trustee the difference, in the real world, what might the trustee do?
As most of these items have limited value, I'm not sure how they might be put together for a trustee sale.
