How do you know when you get discharged?

When will be notified we are officially discharged? Our schedule date was supposed to be 6/3/19 but have not heard from anyone if it was? Do we receive a letter and how long after should we wait?

If this is for a Chapter 7, then the discharge will come at some point after the first scheduled 341 Meeting of Creditors. If your 60th day was the 3rd of June, then the 61st day was on June 4th. June 4th would have been the earliest that you could have been discharged.

Your attorney should send you a copy of the discharge order. If you filed Pro Se, then the court will mail you a copy of the discharge order. If there are flags which are keeping your case from discharging, and you have an attorney, then your attorney should let you know. If you are Pro Se, then you are responsible for figuring out why your case may not have been discharged.

If you're curious -- with or without an attorney -- you could always call the Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court's office and ask.
Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13, discharged 5/10)
Chapter 13 Filed (Pro Se) 5/14 (discharged 8/19)
