Do I have to add student loans when filing for bankruptcy?

Hi, I’m new to the forum and I wanted to know if I have to add my student loan debt to my bankruptcy?

I had to list mine, but was allowed to pay outside of the bankruptcy - I'm in a chapter 13 100% plan. Attorney had to check the box for non-standard item and then listed student loans in section 12. Filed in Kansas in May, so pretty recent.

Thank you for your reply. I’m filing Chapter 7 but I’m doing it myself using upsolve. I just want to make sure I’m adding everything on there.

Welcome to the Forum.

You list all debt that you owe and that does include student loans. They are listed on Schedule F.
