Question Closed cc accounts can be discharged?

I am really glad to find this forum. A lot of information to share...

I have been struggling with Credit Card (CC) debts several years but I can't stand anymore due to big reduction in my income. BK is my next choice.

I have two closed credit card accounts by cc's hardship program which allows to lower the min payments.

Can these closed accounts be discharged through ch 7?

Today is the first day to start researching bk in my life. But I think that I should have done this much earlier......

Absolutely. With few exceptions, all debt that you had accrued prior to filing are gone upon receiving your discharge! All those old bills!
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
