If someone gave you $250 right now....

If someone gave you $250 to spend right now, what would be the first thing you would do with it?

For me, if I already had enough money for the lawyer, I'd be going to the dentist and getting a new pair of glasses. If there as enough left over, then I'd be putting in a doggie door.

    Dentist? Glasses?

    Are they cheaper that way?

Pffft....guess an extra comma would have helped clarify.

      Thanks for the laugh.

          Renew my motor club membership...

...and several favorite magazine/journals I've not renewed (with money so tight getting funds together for filing). And recharge my Starbucks gift card from Mother's Day...home brewed not as tasty, sighhhhh.

I would probably start doing a little Christmas shopping. I could use some contact lens and there's a ton of stuff that needs doing around my house.

Use it to make a very small dent in our new non-dischargeable medical bills (I was hospitalized for three days with a severe infection 12 days after we filed Ch 13...sigh...)

I remember that and I just felt awful for you. Part of my pre-bk planning has to do with getting through some medical issues before filing--I can't believe that happened to you!

Thanks for the support, anon. Combined with our new mortgage company objection difficulties, it's been a tearful, worried day today. Doing my best to tie a knot and hold on through the storm. Don't know what I'd do without the wonderful people like yourself here.

                            Dear lrprn:

Bless your heart!!! So sorry you had to go through that! How are you feeling these days? This process is stressful on a good day, much less when you feel like crap! We are looking at some whopper medical bills next month, but husband has to have the surgery!

Wishing you and yours a Happy Fourth of July!!

I would use the 250 to buy gas. Seriously, this is ridiculous. Gas is up .30/gallon because of the 4th of July. I have not seen that these gas prices have had any effect on the economy, which suprises me. Every extra penny goes in my tank! Someone must have a car to put on the market that gets 70 or more mpg.......please.......please.....
