Joint filing with wife, do we both have to take seperate credit counseling or ?

I was wondering, I see several online services for this, even one which you can call.. myself and my wife are filing jointly, do we both have to do this individually? as in 2 times the fee? or can we do it together 1 time the fee? (Money is tight, super tight)

There is a thread with some more info:

I have seen a number of companies that have a discounted price for couples or households. Just make sure the company is listed as approved for your state. Also, some companies only offer 1 of the 2 required courses which would mean another company for your second course, so that might make a difference in your choice.

The first one we went to was in person in front of a credit counselor. We paid $35.00 each. The second one was online, and we both took it. I don't remember what we paid, but it wasn't as high as the first.

Each debtor must take the classes. Some of the providers allow the joint debtor (husband/wife) to take them at the same time for the same (individual) price. You should "shop" around for the best price but make sure that the particular educator, is authorized for your specific District!

I shopped around and found a place off the US trustee's website (allowed my Maryland) and it was 9.95 per household Sweet
