Also, I said I was a moderate. The republicans have all but rejected moderates from their party, so yea, I guess I'm on the democrat side of the aisle for now. Wow this thread got crazy overnight, the bottom line is our Government is in bad shape no if's and's or but's and honestly its going to take a miracle to pull us out. We can point fingers all we want but it won't help to figure out a solution. I will tell you this last night I was driving on our beautiful freeway (righhht) here in Ca and I must have hit 1000 potholes and bumps....I pay more in taxes for my business each year than most people earn in a year and there isn't even a decent road to drive on......you tell me about the "new deal"


Oh and I have always been pretty much a Conservative in values, but the rest of my Family were Dem's so I grew up with it....so by the time I was 10 I had heard all the recordings of the weekly Fireside Chats, so there are people here who know more than you think they do....

And for Biden, I think he is a puppet...but that being said I kind of like the guy, I would have rather see him get the pole position than Obama...

In cook county you not only pay the same taxes and much higher on those, but you also pay extra tolls on every highway and every time you go onto the highway. you should chek it out. Cook has one of the highest structured tax systems & the people get nothing extra for it. Next, paying higher tax on candy and shampoo is in the works.

We will know in a couple of more years what the real agenda is with Biden. I do have to find it odd that after obama has dealt with IL for 15 years doing nothing, all of the sudden he becomes president and all the state roads are being repaired in all directions everywhere of which could never of happened until after he hit the oval office?, Right... or could that just be the home state is the priority? That would be worth observing from your own pot holes to the east coast. IMO
