Welcome! Following the recession my wife and I both had small business failures and lost our home (we were forced to sell at a massive loss to avoid foreclosure). Our finances caused us to separate. We both ended up getting jobs, and ended up getting back together a few years later. While separated we both filed for bankruptcy, she, a Chapter 7, me, a Chapter 13. While the recession started nearly 18 years ago, it seems like yesterday.

The good news is, there is light at the end of the tunnel, just hang in there, you too will get through this.
      Chapter 13 (not 100%):

      • Filed: 26-Feb-2015
      • MoC: 01-Mar-2015
      • 1st Payment (posted): 23-Mar-2015
      • 60th Payment (posted): 07-Feb-2020
      • Discharged: 04-Mar-2020

I'm sorry to hear about your marriage. We survived marital turmoil about an decade ago, whatever happens it's him and me (and the kiddos of course). We are old parents, schools think we are grandparents lol.
