On November 8, completed my passport application at the post office....and guess what? Passport arrived in the mail today.

The big passport application glut that hit after the rules about needing a passport for ANY travel outside the US went into effect with little notice is finally calming down. That's great! Mine took forever. We applied the first week in March for a trip in late May as soon as we found out we were going. We even paid the express fees. Well, guess what, a week before our trip, no passports. We had to get our congressman's office involved to find our passports and get them overnighted to us.
