Help! I don't know what happened either. I'm not on here often and post even less.
I can only speak for myself... You've been thru a lot! You were put thru the wringer, but you fought and made it. I enjoy your posts and hate to see you leave!! Stay and help those who are willing to listen.

Yes, I agree with the other posters. You're knowledge with regards to your situation could truly benefit another member that may be faced with the same situation. We are a forum that helps others like us, and everyone's situation is unique so every single one of us possess something that we can share.........even if you help just one member, that in itself is priceless.
If you need to take some time away, then do so. We would hate to see you just give up on the forum because of another member's comments/posts.
Remember folks, this is a forum for support, suggestions and advice and not every situation is the same. One member may have the most diffcult type of BK, while another has a cake walk, however each member's knowledge, suggestions, advice and opinions are equally valueable.Last edited by BassBoy; 08-01-2008, 07:51 AM.

Your posts are informative big time, not judgmental at all and do not contain any philosophy or ridiculous advice outside your expertise.
I even notice how you try to assuage posters when you need to give them a wake up call.
I am sorry you got grouped in with a few nasty posters. You are the kind of person that is very valuable due to your experience with BK and the excellent way you express yourself.
I feel your frustration. I don't know when the we and them stuff started.
This BK forum high school stuff has been going on for awhile now and I think the members and moderators are having a hard time trying to figure it out.

Help,
I understand your frustration. I'm haven't even been discharged yet and I am ready to stop posting advice.
I am tired of people asking questions they really don't want the answers to. And once you post your thoughts on the situation, they get an attitude with you over it. I could have been snarky to them in the posts but I wasn't. I am way too old to be beating around a bush for an adult.
Maybe you should take a break from the board, which I am thinking about doing.
I have enjoyed all your posts and I think you are pretty cool.

thats it in a nutshellOriginally posted by Lajazz947 View PostStay, stay. stay.
These posts should show you that we are all here to support.
All the advice on here should be used individually and I like to hear from personal experiences.
The rules I can figure out for myself or ask my attorney, personal experience is priceless.

Hey help
I’m above means and I have been reading your posts. I filed 2 days ago. Because of some of the things you’ve said I did not take the first answer I got but pushed for the best answer.
Please don’t jump ship on me now

What the heck happened? While I think we all agree that your case may not necessarily be the norm everywhere, I for one still very much value the knowledge gained from your experience and pray that you are staying...don't go!!!
I am above-median and feel much more prepared based on the knowledge gained from your experience, so I thank you
For anyone out there who thinks Help is spreading urban legends or fear, you are sadly mistaken...shooting someone down at every turn because you are in denial that something like her case could happen to you is just plain ignorant on your part.

I think I know what happened.. don't stop posting your experiences, Help! We that KNOW what you went through and the fight you fought can attest that it is not a CAKE WALK all the time.
As I said before, I'm a fan.

I don't know what happened but try not to take it personal. Going through the process now I know emotions can run very high. THe whole process is SO stressful.
Sometimes people can forget there is another person on the other side of the computer with feelings. Don't take it personal and keep on posting

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP! Don't Leave!! I need you!Originally posted by Help! View PostI've had about enough of trying to help people out around here and getting shot down. The only reason I've posted after discharge is to try to prevent other above-median filers from being blown away when their petitions are scrutinized by the UST.
All of you who believe that "anything goes" in the BK courts and that I'm spreading fear by advising people to play it safe... that the things that happened in my case are "urban legend"... good luck to you!
I'll only say this... how many of you had a statement of presumed abuse filed in your case and were able to do what was necessary to prevent dismissal/conversion? I can think of only one or two besides myself in this forum.
My last advice... be honest, be humble, and know that you are not entitled to discharge. You're asking the court for help. Be truthful and you'll get it.

Help!, say it ain't so!!! Don't leave us now...after all the valuable knowledge you have shared. It takes people like you to keep this forum what it is. Ignore threads that are ignorant. Contribute where you can. Stick around and offer "Help!" (no pun intended) to those that are humble and seek your knowledge. I have always been a fan or your posts...

Which is exactly why you should stay! You offer a very valuable and different outlook on the whole BK process. You are living proof that it is not always a walk in the park.Originally posted by Help! Because of your experience you are entitled to spread a little fear. Its posters like yourself I think that offer the most. A big reminder to those that might try to hide or beat the system that they best be able to back up EVERYTHING with proof. Because even 100% honest filers like yourself sometimes have to defend their entire lives. You were able to do that and after much stress finally made it through. No urban legend there! I have read every single one of your posts!!!All of you who believe that "anything goes" in the BK courts and that I'm spreading fear by advising people to play it safe... that the things that happened in my case are "urban legend"... good luck to you!
While I have not gone through this, I can say that your posts and experiences have made me all the more thankful for how fairly straight and easy my bk has been (knock on wood). I personally thank you for allowing me to see that I am very lucky. I also thank you for your gentle reminder to others about what can happen. Thats not trying to cause fear but called 'opening eyes'. Keeping this whole process extremely serious as it should be. .I'll only say this... how many of you had a statement of presumed abuse filed in your case and were able to do what was necessary to prevent dismissal/conversion? I can think of only one or two besides myself in this forum.
I cannot imagine what it was like for you. But you have succeeded!!!! and you offer others in your situation so much!
