I was wondering the same thing. I've always seen you be very helpful. I wasn't aware that anyone had been critical of your advise. However, I don't read every single thread.
I'll admit their are plenty of members on this site that annoy me and plenty of others that I find to be very knowledgable and supportive. I don't respond to those who only wish to argue and annoy. I state my opinion once or twice then leave it be if my opinion isn't recieved. I don't personally know people on this board. I would like to think that my opinion is valued as we all do, but if someone doesn't care for what I have to say I don't take it personally.
Sorry I missed whatever this is about and I hope you'll stick around.

Help!,
Sorry you're so frustrated! Your advice is greatly valued and from what I've learned from posting on various advice forums, is it's always best to pick and choose who you responding to. Keep in mind, if someone is posting INSANE posts that do not make sense or extend far beyond your value system, ignore that person and instead use your time providing more valuable advice to those who want to listen. You're not obligated to answer every question out there.
Personally, I think we're ALL trying to beat the system in one form or another. If we do not do that, they system will instead beat US DOWN! Gotta fight "the man." lol But, honestly, when a person is posting all kinds of crazy posts and talking of gambling on a ch. 7 forum, it's hard not to get entirely pissed off when that person is starting to annoy you!
Just take a few day break and IGNORE any members here who annoy you!!! lol
Hope you have a good weekend.

Help, did I miss something? I don't think anyone on this forum means any harm. Maybe some folks have a different take on things based on there state. I know that my state UST was probable more easy on BK filers thatn other states, from what I have read here.
You are right You are not entitled.

I'm outta here!
I've had about enough of trying to help people out around here and getting shot down. The only reason I've posted after discharge is to try to prevent other above-median filers from being blown away when their petitions are scrutinized by the UST.
All of you who believe that "anything goes" in the BK courts and that I'm spreading fear by advising people to play it safe... that the things that happened in my case are "urban legend"... good luck to you!
I'll only say this... how many of you had a statement of presumed abuse filed in your case and were able to do what was necessary to prevent dismissal/conversion? I can think of only one or two besides myself in this forum.
My last advice... be honest, be humble, and know that you are not entitled to discharge. You're asking the court for help. Be truthful and you'll get it.Tags: None
