What Is Everyones Fave Type of Music???

my fave type hands down is electronic music, got into it in around 1997, and have been in love with it ever since. most people dont understand too much about the scene. Basically whenever i have the time/money im out on the dancefloor...i even DJ myself.

if you care to look.....these are the types of music/dance parties i enjoy:

Being a 60's "flower child"..... LOL...... love the old 60's music.

In fact, love all kinds of music..... not real crazy about rap though..... think its neat though in how they create it....

Oh boy, which style to pick? Being a musician, I like all kinds of music and from different era's as well. I'm with Minny about the rap music though. Some of it's great, but I don't care for the hard core, gangster-type stuff.

Being a teenager in the 80's, it was all about HAIR BANDS. Loved all of that stuff. Skid Row was my fav. back then. I even sported the BIG HAIR look. ROTFLMAO!

I was raised on good old Rock-N-Roll........Boston, Bad Company, Asia, Steely Dan, Heart, The Doobie Brothers, Gino Vanelli, and good lord, the list goes on and on. That's when music was music.

In the 90's, I got into the Hip-Hop a little. MC Hammer was an awesome composer........great show in concert as well. And yes, there was the New Kids On The Block. LOL! My sister dreamed about those boys and it was all she listened to. I'm not ashamed to admit that I liked some of their stuff as well. Hell, I even went to a New Kids concert. I took my Sister for her birthday.

              But anyways........

My all time favorite band is the Michael Stanley Band. These guys were my inspriration to play music (drums). MSB was a local Ohio, PA, Indiana band, so many of you may not know who they are. MSB is great Rock-N-Roll!!!!!

Neil Young, any version of Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young, Elton John, Grateful Dead, etc. Any classic rock will do. Did I mention Neil Young?

Ok I have liked just about every kind of music over the years -- from the Beatles to the Beach Boys -- to Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, and James Brown -- to Neil Diamond -- to Chicago and Blood, Sweat & Tears -- to name a few. I still like all of those and even like country music now - (too many to name here - newest favorites are Josh Turner and Carrie Underwood )! I also enjoy really good singers, like Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli (The Prayer).

Funny! I saw KISS in 1979 when I was 15......for Fathers Day this year my Daughters got me two tickets to see KISS in Lake Tahoe. I was thinking they probably wouldn't be in make up or do any of the explosions or any of that. It was the same concert I saw in 79! They still got it
