Is President Obama Our Savior?

Now that he is officially our President, do you think Obama is our savior from the heavens?

Personally, I voted for him, But I don't think he will change the world in 100 days but I do know he will make strides in "rebranding" the great 'ol USA a respected country again in the next 4 years.

Let's hope the 2005 bankruptcy law will be changed or have some new addendums attached to it.

I wonder if his socalled stimulus package will be like Bush's was last year and give folks who really didn't really have to file (only on SS) a stimulus rebate.

I voted for Obama using this methodology:

1. He only has one house. To me, he has more to lose. He's also not mega-rich and he's earned what he's got.

2. He is without a doubt better educated and smarter than what we had.

That being said, I know many people who have loads of education and 130+ IQ's but can't tie their shoes.

I just hope he isn't one of those.

1. Recessions are part of a normal business cycle, just like a fire is needed to make a forest healthy. Don't try to fix a recession, let it work out, there is a reason for it.

2. We need a much smaller government not a bigger one. Socialism is inefficent. Private sector provides much more efficientcy.

3. The New Deal is what broke our economy, a New New Deal will dystroy it.

Just watch....

- The dollar will collapse and the Amero will become our new currency.
- The fake "Global Warming" will force us to submit to the UN as our new govenment.
- The Middle East and our political correctness will turn us into pussies like France.
- Your guns, gold and 401Ks will be confiscated.

Response: Yes, I agree that a recession should let itself work out its own kinks, but remember, it was BUSH and the Greedy Banks with NO good regulation/oversight AND some over zealous consumers who got us into this mess and now Obama is doing everything he can from letting us spin into a depression.

NO ONE can "fix" the mess we're in, in 100 days or even in 4 years. The best Obama can do is try to stop the total train derailment we were facing before he took office.

I'm hopeful, though. I feel hopeful for the first time in many years. According to all of this week's surveys, I'm not alone in feeling this way.

Bush tried to stop Fannie and Freddie from loaning to people who did not deserve loans. It was Barnie Frank and Bill Clinton that pushed the banks to loan money to people that did not qualify. Start a war that wasn't. Tell the American people "we found weapons of mass destruction" and later say "oops! we made a mistake - there really isn't any WOMD - but just keep using the American Tax Dollar" to kill thousands of young men and women."

And while we are at it, let's just deregulate every agency in the government and let it go with no rules and regulations. Uh-huh it's a FREE MARKET, so America go-for-it! America's corporations raped the hell of every hard working American who put in their sweat and muscle by adding more dollars into the greedy CEOs.

I have to agree but putting that aside as theology, I shall say, you cannot fix a damned thing throwing money at it. Look where we all are? Money did nothing for us and throwing money at happiness, brought us misery.

I fear a repeat of the Weimar Republic just before Nazi Germany. They attempted to pay off their WWI sanctions with the printing press. It took tons of money to buy a loaf of bread. Devaluing our money is a great way to control the populus. Those on a fixed income will be destitute, and at the “BIG BROTHER”'s, control. Remember, Hitler was a Savior too. He did good stuff for the Germany at that time. NAZI means National ( what our Country is) Socialism (what our Country is about to be.)
