Yes indeedy, you should have seen the SCSD asking me why I had $3k in my purse, returning from a little ride, coming back to my beautiful rented house in Sarasota only to find my landlord and the police due to the fact that the stove had been removed from the property and sold...I said, "because I can". I knew I would be moving out (not quite that fast, ...)and you always need first, last & deposit...they asked me how I got it, ...alimony...but they did not seize it...been through the car seizure prior to that one...so, yes, you may think you have rights, but not always able to exercise them!!!

My best friend is a Police Officer and his brother is one also. My buddy actually worked on the trading floor on Wall Street and we've known each other many years. Fortunately, these two are quick witted, way above average on the smarts scale and understand jurisdictional and constitutional issues VERY well. Both have gotten rewarded and also ruffled feathers for adhering to the law. When your property is siezed or you say, let an Officer on your boat and such they assume a huge liability and can be sued. Alot of times our rights are violated by morons and also because we are ignorant of our rights, mea culpa... most of all.

I bet "Steve Hill" was in New Delphi. When I had AMEX, I called them and talked to "Shawn". He told me he was in New Delphi. I asked him what it was like. He said "so many American companies". Here's the kicker. I told him "then you must make very good money, and be able to get lots of jobs". He said American companies do not pay so good. He, then, said he had to go as their calls are monitered.

I forced "Steve Hill" to admit that he was in India, "Aspire Visa" when calling customer service. No problem with the card, no more monthly fees and yearly down to 50 bucks, planning to dump it though.

If you think the New BK Law is screwed up, you oughta deal with the New Medicare Plan D. I TRIED to help my Mom decide the best plan for her. It was rediculous!! And that's putting it mildly.

I asked the Pharmacist at the Drug Store for info. Oh sure, they had info. They had a whole display of info at the front of the store. We picked up a sequoia tree of pamphlets and flyers and booklets from the Gov't and different insurance carriers. All meaningless.

So I tried Net searching. The Pharmacist had said we'd have to compare Mom's list of drugs with the different companies formularies to find the best fit for her. OK fine for the drugs she's taking now, but what about the future. I was going to each insurance company's website with Mom's list of drugs and looking at formularies. I got thru about 4 companies when I decided there had to be a better way.

I went to the Medicare website. Entered all Mom's info, her drugs list, and Medicare spit out a list of 50 different plans. I thought, "Great! I've hit it. Finally! An easy way to cross reference the insurance carriers with the list of drugs." WRONG. After looking at 1 or 2 webpages of plans and clicking links for more info, I saw a company I'd already been to and knew that 2 or 3 of Mom's drugs weren't covered. Back to square one. Going thru each insurance company's formulary list and cross referencing drugs.

Mom gave up waiting on me. She got scared if she didn't sign up for a plan with her current Medi-Gap insurance carrier that they would cancel her Medi-Gap plan. So Mom filled out the paperwork and put it out in the mail and then she told me about it. UGH!!

So OK, I thought it was me. I just didn't get it. How to find the right Plan D for Mom. First doctor's visit we're at after that, the nurse and I are discussing the whole Plan D thing. It's a mess for the doctors too. Patients are complaining that it's all very confusing. Doctors' offices are equally confused as well. Can't advise their patients. Doctors having to change patients' meds to other things to get them on something their Plan D will cover. Or the doctors are having to "apply" for approval to keep a patient on a drug they know is working. I looked at Mom and said, "So it wasn't just me after all."

Medicare Plan D is a bigger joke than BK reform. It was supposed to save Seniors money. Hasn't saved Mom a penny. In fact, it's costing her more. Now she pays a $40/month premium she didn't used to pay with no better bottom line when she gets her scripts filled at the drug store.

Personally, I think there is going to be an outrage at the next election. Actually, I am suprised it has not happened yet. I have never seen this country in such shape in my life. This is absolute bullsh*t. There is an tsunami of illegals coming over the border states right now because they are well aware of the guest worker status. They want the benny's without having to pay the taxes. I mean hell, if you could go to mexico, get free health care, jobs, and everything handed to you, would you not be there. Get real George, this country is a mess!! I don't know about any of you, but
I am pissed about what is happening. I have tried to be a good citizen all my life, paid taxes, never done anything wrong. I feel like my own country is trying to screw me. Lets see, companies laying off, moving to China, healthcare out of sight, gas prices out of control and what does GW do--lets change the BK law. Oh and by the way, GW should be focusing on more important issues at hand--but no, what is he worried about--mexican illegals--making them legal.
