John I live in South Florida, have you ever eaten the cost of someone with no traceable address, no social security number, no id slamming into your car? And no, Insurance did not cover it, because making a claim here always raises your risk and rates here, especially if you use your uninsured motorist or file any claim on your own policy. Don't even discuss insurance if you don't live in a high risk area.

It is odd, it was 1984 and i still remember his "name" and the fact that i ate the cost of his lack of identity. None of them drive with insurance, that produces a document, is that not illegal?

Second, likely they are heavily in debt to a labor boss who arranges jobs. They are generally in debt to whoever finances the boat ride from Cuba or Haiti. Likely they are in debt to family and friends that financed the trip over here. My Gosh, in Miami we all know what it costs to bring someone over and have a general knowledge. My stepmother and my wife are both Colombian, the illegal issue does not strike them, they have been here since the 1960's and are viable and legal. I'll leave extended family to your imagination, but imagine on. To anyone with a smattering of knowledge of the issue to say that illegals are not in debt is blatantly stupid. Not only are most in debt but the family in the other Country remains under threat until the interest is paid.

I DO agree with John on this, American kids are not studying Medicine, Engineering and such in good numbers, he is correct. We do need immigrants. 1.) The average person is so far in credit card debt and overpriced car loans that they can't afford to get qualified for a loan... they could afford the house if they were able to get rid of the credit cards and high car loan.
2.) 95% of all small business fail within the first 5 years. Do some more research.
3.) Our English language is turning into Spanish because of politically correct morons who won't stand up to criminals. English is still the most widely used language in the world.
4.) How many Americans can afford to go to medical school? 6.) Most users of social services are minority people in this country. Again, where are you getting your information?! Check with the Family Independence Agencies, and the welfare offices... 7.) I would be willing to pay more for something if it was worth it. Right now, to me it's not worth it to pay $50,000 for a vehicle when someone at the GM plant is making $75.00 an hour to sweep the floor because of unionization. It's called ripping people off.
8.) Crime rates in this country are highest amont Illegal aliens. They are committing the majority of the crimes in this country right now! ABC even did a report on this recently. I am "Apolitical" at this point. I plan on voting out any incumbants regardless of party. Pass bankruptcy reform and "it will be good for the economy, teach personal responsability". GM and it's suppliers are having major troubles and the government won't offer assistance. "The argumant is GM needs to compete better and build a better product".

If this is our governments stand that's one thing, but it's very inconsistant with helping every other nation in the world and both parties allowing 12 million illegals here to drain the social safety net and pay NOTHING into it.

I feel that if you make life tougher for Americans and encourage personal responsability that's fine. I think it's what we need to be better people. I'm not blaming the government for my problems. I'm tired of being politically correct, too! Although I have always considered myself to be a Republican, I am less and less that each day. Our state's governor is cutting funds for tobacco cessation programs, vetoing bills that would support lower grocery taxes and higher cigarette taxes, but meanwhile supporting the casinos.
