My parents raised me to love and get along with all races and nationalities..... treat them as I would want to be treated....... all are God's creation and children.

Well,

1. 911 changed my mind and heart on many things ................ especially on our involvement overseas in foreign countries.

2. Our factories/businesses moving overseas, taking our jobs (then shipping their items back to us to buy doesn't go over real big in my home!

3. My high taxes (jerked out of my little paycheck) are supporting illegal immigrants when it should be supporting senior citizens, handicapped, and children. (We teach their kids in school, they hit our social services (all they need is a illegal SS#) They use our medical facilities yet pay nothing, no insurance, nothing.

4. Illegals are taking jobs that our families here need to support their own kids. They get paid under the table - no taxes, nothing - free and clear). Then this money is not spent here, it is transferred overseas.

5. Among them some are rapists, murders, theives, gang members, etc to increase our crime rate even more. Some can't "live" in their own country any more, so they come here.

You talk "community"?????? When was the last time you saw communities mixed........... white, black, aisian Americans still do mix their communities..... BUT few foreigners do!!! You have nationalities that create their "own villages"!!! And then want to fly their "own flag" and not ours!!!!

Illegals are marching in our streets - DEMANDING CITIZENSHIP - let them obtain it the way immigrants always have............ come here, learn the language, learn the customs, learn the law of the land, and apply for citizenship.

America is the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. Many have given their lives for that right of freedom over the years. Many have fought in wars and been injured to protect that right. Do illegals fight this battle - NO!! Does their (under table paycheck) support these battles - NO!! Have they ever supported America in anyway, NO!

What does an illegal offer America??? NOTHING!! The only thing they do right now is TAKE............. our money, our jobs, our food, our medical supplies, housing, etc. And the expense to deport them each time they come back!!!!

If an illegal wants the "freedoms" that America offers, then they need to become legal the RIGHT WAY - NOT JUST WALKING ACROSS THE BORDER!!!
They need to work, pay taxes, support schools, businesses, and keep their money in America..........

The language in America is ENGLISH - not German, French, Russian, etc and it's sure not SPANISH........

I'm tired of every box I pick up or every sign I read I'm looking at SPANISH words instead of ENGLISH.... I have to hunt the box over to find the English version of whatever they are trying to say.

Don't misunderstand me here, knowing a second and third language is a gift that people give themselves. Without this knowledge communication with foreign counties would be very difficult.

But the language in America is ENGLISH - and I feel that THIS DOES NOT NEED TO BE CHANGED!!!

I'm not saying forget your origins, your nationality, your language, NEVER FORGET YOUR ROOTS.... I''m saying speak English when your on the streets in America.

Nothing makes me irritated more then to call a company and inquire about something and get somebody in India, Pakistan, etc - that can't even speak English..........

Our nation is a mix of many nationalities, races, cultures, languages,BUT OUR LANGUAGE IS ENGLISH AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN.

In my opinion, racking up large sums of debt that you cannot possibly pay and knowingly doing so to avoid paying them should be a crime.

I've seen some real angry statements coming from this board about immigration. I've also seen quotes from dead presidents.

Did you ever think that maybe you are wrong in your thinking and that the way you live your lives is unhealthy? I don't mean to be an *******, but do you ever ask yourselves, why am I so angry all the time? Why is it that I go to church, but then am so angry towards people who are not like me? Why is it that I don't like people or feel superior to people that are not white? Why do I drive so far away from work to live on large plots of land so I can be away from the city (which really means the minorities)? Why do you work in jobs you hate, to buy stuff you don't need to impress people you don't like?

I hope you are just looking to spur on an argument, you need to calm down and not be so mean , open Your eyes and look whats going on. After all you seem to be an expert on white America, This isn't about White vs Black , Asian, Latinos etc. its about our nation and the allowed "invasion" of illegal immigrants making a mockery of the system, they sure do know how to work it. Last summer when our laundry room was being remodeled, we had to take the laundry out. The few times I'd had to use a laundromat before, I knew of this real nice one, locally owned, had A/C in the summer. We decided to go there instead of right in town.

I was so surprised to see an Asian couple running the place now, that I didn't even notice some of the other more subtle changes the first time we went. Next time, tho, there were several Hispanic women with children there. All speaking Spanish, of course. Daughter has been taking Spanish so she could follow most of their conversations. Which they don't expect, because we all speak English.

After we'd loaded the washing machines and were waiting to dry, Daughter was eaves dropping on more Spanish conversation. This chick was talking about stuff "back home". Then Daughter pointed out a very interesting tatoo the chick had on her ankle. Daughter tells me she recognizes it as a Central/South American Gang symbol. Then I noticed the owners had a sales flyer tacked up. All Spanish. And, the laundromat served as a "Western Union" type Vendor where the local Hispanics could send their Yankee Dollars back home to Central and South American Countries. The WU type company was backed by some Hispanic sounding name bank out of Southern California.

That was it for me. I was done spending my money in that laundromat.

Not the UP of Michigan, but not Florida either. That was Kansas City, middle America, USA. It's every where, if people will just open their eyes and look to see it.

I understand, you were not comfortable in an environment of minorities? Myself I grew up in a large city so being surrounded by people who look different or speak another language doesn't bother me. I speak Italian myself, so Catholic Spanish people don't bother me.

I'm not sure how your daughter knows about gang symbols? Is she interested about gangs at school? Many white americans focus on gang/rap sub-culture through music (white people are the largest buyers of that genre) and talk about it in school. I wish they would study more though instead of having to bring in foreigners to do the thinking jobs.

I think that the "Asians" who bought the laundromat shows how enterprising they. Does that make you jealous?

Illegal aliens are not criminals/ THEY ARE HERE ILLEGALY? ISN"T THAT ILLEGAL? Illegal means a law has been violated, how hard is that to understand, lets just call them "Guest Aliens" , Why don't we just give them all a car , a full tank of gas and house as they cross the borders! Maybe we should give them Credit Card too. There is no law enforcement against them protesting in the streets, eeven if they are all illegal, must be a bunch of lazy Americans who don't want to do the paperwork on it I guess, hey maybe they'll do it themselves, or more likely they will suddenly for some unknown reason forget how to speak English again. If our country wants closed borders and so called "security" then we should enforce the laws instead of looking the other way because it costs too much, Its easier busting citizens for loitering I guess. I think the USA is a great country, but the real problem is that we have too much us versus them mentality that has been pushed on us from youth. They went on a spree here last week rounding up illegals out of Mexico and Honduras. They have been investigate some of the employers for quite a while over the immigrants that have been working. This time the employers were picked up also - I think now its a feloney to employ illegal immigrants. I know for sure its illegal in our state (KY) to employee illegals. They shut down 3 business in our town and picked up 11 illegals that they COULD find. Hunting 37 more!!

They did this state wide and picked up a BUNCH................. all will be deported.

A friend of mine is married to a man from Honduras.... He is legal and has been in the US for 12 years. He has two brothers here, both legal and he has brought 3 sons here in the last 5 years. Two are legal, 1 is illegal. The illegal one is presently hiding out as they are looking for him. They have picked him up before and deported him. I reminded my friend that if she "harbors" his boy and their looking for him she's going to be in "big trouble" if they find him around her........

A great deal of INS paperwork goes thru a local data company here in our town...... (they even approved papers for one of the 911 terrorist who hit the World Trade Center - how stupid is THAT???? They approved his visa's and approved for him to get a pilot liscense here in the US - DUH?????)
We also have a major INS/FBI office here locally....... (not well known to most locals).

Many of the local foreigner are India and Pakistan families..... a lot of the doctors here now are out of India and Pakistan. Very few white American doctors here locally.

Many of the motels, restraurants are foreign owned......

THIS SHOULD TELL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE!!

I'm not against foreigners in the US - just come here legally, work, pay taxes, etc......

This is not the immigrant wave of the last century. This one has a hand outstretched. Much of it is pulling at our tax revenues and our insurance cost.

For anyone to be so simple as to make a statement about illegals not living off of debt must live in UP Michigan and be cut off. When I bought my van the first thing all my Cuban buddies started laughing about was how much I could make on a trip from the beach (the going rate is $100.00 per head, the boat ride is around $10,000.00). This person doesn't even understand that to come illegally from most Countries costs thousands and that family is often used as collateral. Money is sent home to pay the debt and support the family. My God, in Colombia they will kill a family member NOT AS AN EXAMPLE but as a rule. You have to be freaking kidding, you don't even have that much lousy understanding of the illegal immigrant issue. The Shell station on the corner is the famous one where the German and other tourists like to trade "life for gas" or buy a $10,000.00 tank of fuel, it's basically the first sign they see as they head north on 95 from the Airport.

I used to live in Clearwater, I know the Tampa area, I am not a college grad, so you just try to find a job in Florida without talking spanish, I was born here, I wish I did talk another language but I don't. I am a minority, the problem is huge, I think we can call Florida .. North Cuba. I am all for equal opportunity for everyone, but why should I just sit back and let "ILLEGALS" take my job, take my property, take my natural born rights as an American, and just shrug my shoulders and smile about it. I too was in Elementary school a GOzillion years ago. We had one head lice inspection that I can recall in all 6 years of primary school. I remember because it was odd that a couple of women, with gloves on, came and ran their hands thru our hair. Never happened before. And I couldn't remember what the Teacher had called it so I went home and told my Mom these ladies had checked our heads for "lease" at school.

For my kids, lice inspections were a routine part of Elementary School life. At one point, one of the kids' friends had lice, caught from kids at school we think. So the Mom called Mom's of all the friends to warn us. My sister had had to treat her kids several times for lice. Her kids were picking them up who knew where, but it happened over and over again. They finally figured out it was the kids from one family that they rode the bus with. So off the bus and Sis started driving her kids to school. Immediately, I ran out and bought the shampoo and treated as a precaution. I know what my sister had gone thru to get rid of the lice every time. Washing all the clothes. Treating the kids with the shampoos. Lots of work and what a mess. Thankfully we've never had to deal with lice.

My old neighborhood doesn't even exist any more. The airport took it. But there was an ugly, nasty transition period. After the Airport announced they were going to take the land, most of the good people moved out because they didn't want to get caught. Investors bought and rented some of the houses. Many houses were left vacant. The area Police quit patrolling and the big, 2 legged rats moved in. I worried so for my Mom the last year she was there. By that time, there was just one neighbor left. But for Mom to get her Buy-Out money, the house had to be owner occupied, so she stayed. We were able to get her out early on a Medical Hardship Waiver, that took 2 years to process. She could still be sitting there waiting today if it weren't for that. Eventually, the whole area will be transformed into an Industrial Park, but the interim period is not pretty.

Sinking, when i was in School in Nashville a GOzillion years ago head lice were unheard, I honestly never had to take a note home for diseases and lice and other third world maladies. I raised three boys in SoFla, it is a regular occurrence here and in North Miami it was weekly and directly related to the Hatian influx. My once beautiful North Miami was overrun by them in a short time. I remember in 83' we had 1 murder for the year. Today it is a crime ridden %$#@hole. My Mother-in-law left sold her home a block away from my first one in 2001 after six breakins, she had freaking bars on the windows and doors and still they got in and ransacked the house. there are two and three families living in some of the homes on my old street. used to be nice, poured concrete homes with large lots. And please folks like i say, I issue no caveats or apologies and i don't give a damn what folks think. I've lived the rathole the rest of the Country needs to prepare for if they want to continue with the guilt ridden political correctness that people like to spout, WHILE THEY AIN'T watching their neighborhood die every five years.

Don't park a Honda or Toyota anywhere in north miami if it is not under your bedroom window, it will dissappear and be on a boat before you can wake up. Bicycles are unheard of in North Miami and the police are always finding hundreds of them on those old freighters that come up the Miami River, don't tell me illegals don't bring a massive wave of crime. I am living it. Facts are facts, even ugly ones.

Look in your 1980 Guinness Book of Records. Biscayne park had NO CRIME that year. The lowest crime rate in America. It sits between North Miami and Miami Shores, which also had low crime during those days. Go to Sperling online and see the stats today, use North Maimi if Biscayne park doesn't show up.

Oh Yeah, that had real commercial application in the USA. Pharma companies basically donate drugs like that to where ever in the world because there is no market for them. There are products on the shelves that people purchase daily that are a direct result of work that I did when I worked professionally. Eaten out in any restaurants lately?? You may have eaten one of my creations!!
