you've gone and ruined me LOL! Now I'm on Ustream looking at 2 black bears dens (its so funny to listen to them groan!), a hummingbird cam, a place in S. Africa that I saw a lion on (watering hole at a resort there) AND...the eagles!

ugh. I need more eyes to watch them all!

I got grossed out last night, the Dad brought a Seagull for dinner. I know it is nature, but still.
I feel sorry for the prey.

Raptors kill a lot of cute little furry animals, too. I saw a squirrel being carried away from my family's yard up in Oregon, and I felt sorry for the squirrel. My parents, who have to deal with the damage the squirrels do on a daily basis, don't feel the same way as I do. But for me, I just love seeing them come into their yard, and I even got one of them to come up to me a take a peanut from my shoe. The squirrels got that close to me.

A squirrel oh no, I love to see them. I use to have a feeder for them in my yard. I saw a Osprey Hawk, take a baby Gribb from my pond and I ran out with a broom, he dropped it in pond. It swam around a few mins them flew over, I guess it had internal injuries, then later the darn Hawk was back in yard under tree eating the thing. It took him about 1 min to defeather it. I try not to look out at the backyard pond in morning.

I know what you mean. It was disturbing to see the cute little squirrel get taken away by a hawk, and knowing what was in store for it.

I love watching squirrels and well, any cute little furry animals.

My Hubby and I drove down to Fort Meyers this afternoon to thie property and observe the nest , what a sight to see, If is right in middle of a horse ranch, the tree is about 60 ft tall, and mother Bald Eagle was perched over nest, and we could see one baby peeking over the edge. There were loads of cameramen there taking shots.
