It would be nice to see your personal list of creditors and amounts for everyone

I think it would be nice if everyone would post a listing of all of the creditors and how much they included in the BK that was discharged so other people could see real-life BK's that were discharged.

Something like this as an example, with rounded figures. Don't need the exact amounts.

    i.e.:

    Discover $1200
    AMEX $4700
    Wachovia $18300
Hospital Bill from XYZ Hospital $46500
    WaMu $3800
    Ford Motor Credit $7900
    GMAC $16000
    Capital One $4800
    Grand Total: $103,200

The above are not real, but something similar to the above so we can all get an idea of realistic bankruptcies that were actually processed and discharged.

As of last night, I started a spreadsheet to track the name of the creditor, address, account # and outstanding balance. So far after entering in only 7 companies, I am already at $93,000 and am just at the tip of the iceberg.

When I am done with my list, I would love to post the results here for all to see. I think posts like this would give lurkers a good idea of what people are really discharging. Something like this would be helpful to me in making a decision if I were new here as these would all be real, live examples with details.

Optionally, you could even put something in parenthesis after, such as: GMAC $16300 (Pontiac GTO repo), Hospital bill from XYZ hospital bill $76000 (for gall bladder surgery when not having insurance), etc.

Wow... I can't wait to get my list on here! I am going to wait for each bill to come in one at a time. Once my list is near complete, I will try to post everything. I thought I had a lot to go, but now I see that I am not alone.

This posting should lead by example.
