I have to force myself to eat.........I have to make sure that I eat something everyday. I never want to deal with BK again.....I just want to get through this well and with a discharge.

Although we retained our Attorney late last Sept. & quit paying all but 1 credit card the same month, I was nervous, tense, edgy for just a couple of weeks.
Since 3/14/05, day of the accident, which deemed me 100% disabled, I've had 7 surgeries. in 1005 Dh had 2 stents put in near his heart. In 2/07, at the age of 50, he had 5 bypass surgery & in 6/07 had a pacemaker implanted. He was off work 7 1/2 months. Almost lost him this past April as his organs were shutting down, blood pressure bottomed & he wasn't receiving enough blood flow to his brain. 4 1/2 weeks later, he was back to work. O & Dh had a 360 degree spinal fusion in 11/03 which was a 10 hr. operation & reguired a Vascular Surgeon along with a Neurosurgery.
When you go through Major Medical Crisis after another, we've come to realize it's just part of life. Although we both have medical insurance, our prescriptions, alone, cost $500 and our medical expenses range from $12,000 to $15,000 in the last 3 yrs. This year, we will surpass that amount.
We will be filing in 9/09 and I update our expenses every time I pay a bill. So, all I will need will be an itemization of Dh's 6 mth. paychecks for Mar - Aug from his employer.
My only concern is the 341 hearing. I will be on a scooter and it takes time for the security people to run that machine all over my scooter. Plus with Dh having a Pacemaker and me a Spinal Cord Stimulator we cannot go through the metal detectors so will have to be hand searched. I know this is an ordeal as we go through it every time we fly.
As for the whole BK process, DH and I are not worried. He said to me the other day 'as long as have you, our shih tzu & a roof over our head, I'm am happy!'.
We just know Life is Too Short to worry about the what Ifs. Our philosophy is; We Take One Day At A Time. Challenges (don't like the word obstacles) are just that and we've learned to make the most of what is given to us.

I was the same way at first, I had trouble eating and was worrying all the time. I actually had the doctor up my prescription of Prozac for obsessive compulsive and that seems to have helped.Originally posted by denisejohn65 View PostI have to force myself to eat.........I have to make sure that I eat something everyday. In addition I stopped worrying because we have nothing to worry about. What I mean by that is we have no money or property. We have the typical assests a family of 4 has but nothing extravagent, thus no need to worry. You should hopefully feel the same and try not to worry about it as much.
