    Calculate Mean test - FREE

Hey folks - while re-searching on the net, I found a very good web site that calculates mean test free.

    Here's the site: www.legalconsumer.com/bankruptcy

Enter your zip code, then click on the "Mean Test Calculator" tab on next page. enter all details and you'll get result in line 52 adn 55.

Try it. It also pulls all details (minimum numbers per county) for you.

    Good Luck.

    I pass both 7 adn 13.
12/31/08: Filed for ch 13. (FICO: 605 as of 1/5/09, 648 as of July 2010). 02/11/09: 341 mtg. Plan confirmed for $200 per month for 36 months... (20 down 16 left)

Hmmmm....I'd love to hear how you came out showing no disposable income so you can file Ch 7, and at the same time showing at least $100/month disposable income so you can file Ch 13. How did you manage that?
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

    06/01/06 - Filed Ch 13
    06/28/06 - 341 Meeting
    07/18/06 - Confirmation Hearing - not confirmed, 3 objections
10/05/06 - Hearing to resolve 2 trustee objections
01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
    09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
    08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !

    10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go

I wonder that too... I believe it just calculate based upon income vs expenses, considering county's #s.

My total secured debts are close 1.5M, where as state/county minimum is 1.08M. That means I cant file chapter 13, but web site says I passed mean test for 7 adn 13.

But on the other hand, if someone is just qualified for 13, it doesn't mention chapter 7.... I believe there is minor error on the site.

i put in some hypothetical numbers and whether you have diposable income or not it says "you qualify for chapter 7 or 13." However a 13 plan would never be comfirmed....
