I never had an AMEX card, but I had a Chase Visa, and they never sued me. In the early stages I was trying out all sorts of different ideas, and in one of my letters to Chase Visa, I told them that I didn't have a job and had no assets, and I asked them if they would let me come work for them, and they could deduct what I owed them out of my salary. They went for it! They told me to call a certain person in the H.R. dept. of their local call center, and they were going to put me on their debt collector staff!

It's probably a good thing CrapOne didn't raise your credit limit. Mark my words, if you get into trouble with CrapOne, they will sue you.

I like to call them CrapOne

They hold the record of being the only one to sue me.

My ValleYum is a play on Valium aka Diazepam. Nice catch, JB!

I would have needed it desperately *and* permanently without the financial relief that our BK provided.

It was a joke, since I'm a moderator and another moderator is participating in this relaxing topic.

I would never dare call my aunt 'TT', she'd slap me.

Wow, I must be dense, I never realized about that user name, of course, duh!

Oh yeah, that reminds me of another bugaboo. So many people writing Zanax. It's Xanax, and the only z in it is in the Zzzzz you'll do afterwards.

While we are on the subject, I like to say Trustee or "Tee". Some people use "TT" which sounds like something you call your aunt.

(I wonder when the Mods are going to close this thread.)

CapOne, cap1, cap one all work for me, no need to to spell it out. And medium income is almost as descriptive as median, who cares.

It bothers me when so many people say the trustee wants their tax return. Unless they haven't submitted the required documents, it's

    tax REFUND.

NOT tax return! The trustee requires your tax return, but wants your money, your REFUND.
